Conservative dentistry is preserving the natural shape and color of teeth. This field of dentistry aims at preventing and treating the effects of the most common dental disease — dental caries.
We offer the following treatments:
- Prophylactics (plaque and tartar removal)
- Tooth tissue loss treatment (modern filling materials; onlays and inlays)
- Root canal treatment (see: Endodontics)
- Cosmetics (see: Aesthetic Dentistry)
Patients at our clinic are offered professional, reliable advice and help regardless of the stage of the caries process. Treatment of cavities is 100% painless thanks to various topical anesthetics that may be used, depending on the age and health of the patient. For patients who are afraid of needles, the injection can be preceded by applying a special anesthetic jelly with a pleasant fruity taste on the gums surrounding the tooth.
Thanks to state-of-the-art nanocomposite materials, the filling can restore the tooth’s natural appearance. A vast range of filling colors allows for a perfect match, while the material is very similar to the structure and hardness of our teeth.
As an alternative to composite fillings applied directly on processed cavities, we may use porcelain inlays and onlays that are precisely prepared by the prosthetics lab we cooperate with.
Sometimes, often as a result of caries or root canal treatment, the tooth’s tissue is significantly damaged. In such cases, we may use fiber glass components to provide additional support for the filling. Modern fiber-glass-based technology for reconstruction and restoration of heavily damaged teeth is an especially advantageous method of restoring a wonderful smile of our patients.
